Ready Bag Privacy Policy

Ready Bag helps fire and EMS departments manage equipment inventory, expiration dates, and bag checks. This policy explains the information we use to provide that service.
Information we collect
We collect account information such as your name, email address, sign-in provider, and department membership. We store department-created inventory, stations, vehicles, bags, expiration dates, check history, reset settings, and administrator subscription status. For purchases, we process product, transaction or order, purchase-token, entitlement, and expiration information supplied by Apple, Google Play, or Stripe; Ready Bag does not receive your full payment-card number. If you scan or upload an inventory list, its contents are processed to create or update inventory.
How information is used
We use this information to authenticate users, share readiness information with authorized department members, operate inventory and check features, administer subscriptions, prevent abuse, and support the service. We do not sell personal information or use it for cross-app tracking.
Service providers
Ready Bag uses Apple for Sign in with Apple and iPhone subscriptions, Google Play for Android subscriptions, OpenAI for optional Sign in with ChatGPT, Stripe for subscriptions purchased on the website, and cloud hosting/database providers to operate the service.
Retention and deletion
We keep information while an account or department uses Ready Bag and as needed for security, legal, and billing obligations. You can delete your personal account from Settings or follow the instructions on our account deletion page. Account deletion removes sign-in identities and stored authorization tokens, and Ready Bag requests revocation of Sign in with Apple authorization when the required token is available. Deleting a Ready Bag account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. Shared department inventory remains available to other authorized members. Department administrators may contact us to request department-data deletion.
Security and choices
We use reasonable safeguards, encrypted network connections, and access controls. You may use an Apple private relay address when signing in with Apple. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
